121 Community Church partners with  Grapevine local schools to bring God's justice to children at risk. Timberline Elementary School and Cross Timbers Middle School are just a few miles from our church.

Here are several opportunities you can get involved as an individual or LifeGroup.

Mentor a student - Mentoring takes only one hour a week during the school day.  If you have a job with flexible hours, this is the perfect opportunity.  Mentors are greatly needed in both schools.  If you are interested in mentoring at the Middle School, contact Janet McKnight at 817-251-5320.  If you would like to mentor at the Elementary level, call Jessica Gonzalez at 817-251-5770.

Clothes Closet and Food Distribution - Both schools need help organizing their clothes closet each week.  This can be done after school hours.  To serve in the middle school, contact Lisa Hughes at 817-251-5315.  For information on volunteering at the elementary school, call Jessica Gonzalez at 817-251-5770.  If you are interested in distributing food each week at the elementary school, speak to Jessica Gonzalez at 817.251.5770.

Professional Speakers and Job Shadowing  - The Careers Class teacher of Cross Timbers Middle School is looking for professionals to come speak to their classes. Contact Kathryn Burkhart  at  for more information.

Cross Timbers Middle School also needs businesses to open their doors to middle school students and ‘shadow’ your office for a day.  This would involve taking a student on a tour of your business and then sharing with him/her what you do throughout the day.  Click on job shadowing to read more.

Tutor - If you are a GCISD High School student, there is a great need for your help, especially at the Middle School.  If you are interested, contact Lisa Hughes, middle school counselor, at 817-251-5315 to volunteer for Wolf Pack Homework Attack.  If you are interested in tutoring  hildren at the elementary school, contact Jessica Gonzalez at 817-251-5770.

All volunteers must be approved by the GCISD school system.  Please fill out the GCISD Volunteer form online to get approved to serve at GCISD.
