EQUIP to LEAD
...to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. (Ephesians 4:12)
There are two primary areas of focus in 121's efforts to equip our body to lead people to live for Jesus Christ: Foundations of our faith, and equipping of Future Leaders.
- Foundations encompasses church-wide equipping in the areas of Scripture, theology, and apologetics & evangelism. Courses and events will be offered to the entire body of 121 to be prepared for ministry in these key areas.
- Future Leaders focuses on preparing new leaders for various ministries and outreach efforts of 121. This is primarily accomplished through 1-on-1 relationships with existing leaders in a multi-week format.
These have been identified as vital areas of growth for our particular church in our particular context, so we will commit greater time and resources to equip our body in these areas. These efforts are meant to complement the primary growth environments of the Table for Two, LifeGroups, and Sunday morning services.
