LifeGroups move out together on MISSION.

m_Green Line

While LifeGroups certainly exist as communities of people who love and care for one another, no LifeGroup is complete without a focus outward to the world God loves.

Instead of thinking of "missions" as a program in the church, we speak about Mission as a critical element in any LifeGroup.

We seek to join God in His Mission to make Himself known among all peoples, so they may know and worship Him, and Him alone. This includes our local area and necessarily extends to the ends of the earth.

On MISSION, we relate to those who do not know and worship the one, true God. This happens through personal relationships in our spheres of influence as well as local and global mission efforts.

Check out these documents to help your LifeGroup keep Mission integrated and connect to an ongoing mission effort:

Saturday Serve is a special day on the 121 calendar to be on mission together, serving in a unique way or being introduced to new efforts.

  • If your group already has a mission partnership, target that day to serve in your ongoing effort.
  • If your group does not have a mission partnership, Saturday Serve is a great day to serve together as a group and connect to an ongoing ministry.

Saturday Serve is also a day to include new people at 121 in service and connect then to a LifeGroup. There are opportunities for families to serve together and even to invite non-believing friends to serve with you.
