Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.
We all know individuals who do not know Jesus.
Maybe it’s a co-worker, a neighbor, a family member, or all three. Think about your typical day and the people you interact with…the gas attendant, the bank receptionist, the waiter, your Uber driver, etc. Do you have any clue where the people you see daily are spiritually? Do you have opportunity to have a conversation with them about your faith?
As followers of Christ, we have an urgent need to be prepared at all times for situations like this.
The Holy Spirit is ready to use us. When we ask, He will equip us to challenge, encourage, and urge others of the importance of knowing Christ. We should never quit doing this! With careful patience, we should be ready to serve God both in good times and bad.
Like Isaiah, with a willing heart we need to say, “Here I am, Lord. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8).
• What daily interactions do you have that might be opportunities to share your faith with others?
• How can you further seek Christ, so that you might be ready to share with others at all times?
• Pray that God will use you today to tell someone else about Him.
