27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.
Do you recall ever feeling left out, looked down upon, or like you just don’t belong?
It’s not a fun feeling. Jesus can relate. He was viewed as the outcast most of His life. Being on the outside of an inside joke is never a desirable situation. Fortunately for us, God loves the outsiders.
By design, we all want to feel included. You were made with this longing. The great news is that with Christ, you always have a place. In God’s family, there are no outcasts. There are no superiors or inferiors.
Clothed in Christ, we are all equal. We are all welcome. We are all home!
• How does being an heir of Christ motivate you to care for outcasts?
• What can you do to eliminate division among believers?
• Pray that God has you exactly where He wants you to be. Let His peace consume you as you feel at home being His child.
