13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,
14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
22 And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
One of the many ways God is unequaled is in His immense capacity to forgive. The only basis on which this undeserved act is made possible is the tremendous tragedy of the cross of Christ. His forgiveness is the divine miracle of grace. To grasp all it cost God to forgive through Jesus’ sacrifice leaves us compelled by His love for us.
Are you struggling with guilt and shame? Do you feel like God could never forgive you? The enemy loves to keep us in doubt and confusion. Can God really love me after what I did? Would God really still want to use me after all the mistakes I’ve made? Satan desires to keep us from a full understanding of and belief in the depth of God’s love for us.
Armed with confidence in His Word, we can claim His authority and promises in our lives over the enemy. When we do, we walk each day in grace, forgiveness, and freedom. We can be unburdened by guilt and shame. We are free to move forward with no condemnation holding us back. Christ came that we might be rescued and experience true redemption and freedom in Him.

• What are you holding onto that you need to submit to God and seek His forgiveness?
• Ask for God’s forgiveness. Leave nothing un-surrendered today. Thank Him for His total and complete forgiveness in Christ.
