“That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Think about when and how you came to know Christ.

Was it conversations with a friend, a pastor, or a family member that first introduced you to Him? Maybe it was selfless acts of kindness where you saw God’s love shining through someone else.

Have you ever thanked that person for the impact he or she made on your spiritual journey? As those who have been shown the grace of God in the lives of others, we should seek to impact the lives of others similarly. The most important thing we can do is lead someone else into a relationship with Jesus.

How comfortable are you sharing the gospel with others? Have you ever been given that opportunity? Talking to others about salvation can be very intimidating. But when we rely on Jesus, helping someone begin an eternal relationship with God can be the most amazing experience we can have this side of heaven. It brings us closer to God, gives unrivaled joy, and fulfills this mission we have been given.

  • Have you ever led someone into a relationship with Jesus Christ? If yes, how did this take place?
  • Is there anything that prevents you from telling someone else about Jesus?
  • Pray for the opportunity to lead someone to salvation. Ask God to reveal the person to you. Then ask God to give you the words to say and the courage to reach out to him or her this week. Remember that it is God’s power that brings about salvation.
