Opportunities to Serve

This Christmas, we've partnered with 3 local organizations to help those in need and give back to the community. Read below to learn more about each of these opportunities.

Santa Cops

The Grapevine Police Santa Cops Program delivers donated toys to over 800 economically disadvantaged children in the community. Santa Cops is funded entirely by local donations, and would be non-existent without the extreme generosity of the people of this great community!

How can you help Santa Cops?

Santa Cops accepts cash and toy donations which can be dropped off at any number of our collection sites:

  • Public Safety Building
  • Community Outreach Center
  • City Hall
  • The REC
  • GCISD Administration Building

How else can you help Santa Cops?

Anyone wishing to volunteer to wrap toys can assist on December 3, 5, 10 and if necessary December 12

from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at 1217 W SH 114 Ste 120 (Grapevine Towne Center).

6Stones Night of Hope

Help us share the Joy of Christmas with over 4,500 deserving children and their families in the HEB community by partnering with 6 Stones for Night of Hope.

121 is the host church for Bell Manor Elementary in Bedford. Sign up to volunteer at this school or a school that is nearest to you or your life group.

At the parties, each family will receive their gifts and a Christmas dinner to take home. We will also have a special gift for the children to give their parents. In addition to the parties, there are several opportunities for volunteers and groups to help us shop and prepare the gifts and supplies.

Adults and children can volunteer for Night of Hope. Children and adults 12 years and older are able to volunteer for Night of Hope on their own, and you would register them for one of the open parties. For younger, elementary school-aged children, please register for any school other than the one they attend to help protect the anonymity of their classmates and the families who will be attending.

The Christmas Cottage is a program that provides roughly 2,700 families with Christmas gifts for their family at no cost to them. Families are able to make their own selections of gifts for their family. Each family is given a budget based on their family size. They "shop" in the cottage among age appropriate items that are given a dollar value that is approximate to Walmart. This way, they not only get to choose the gifts that they know their children will like, but they are learning to budget and understand the value of what they are being given. It really helps the parents maintain a sense of dignity since they are able to maintain a level of privacy.

Volunteers are crucial to the success of Christmas Cottage. Contact Seasonal Programs Manager Lori Stevens for details.
